Other programmes
According to the EIF standards of evidence, programmes that do not meet the threshold for a level 2 rating do not have even preliminary evidence of achieving outcomes for children. Programmes listed on this page have been assessed by EIF and found not to meet the threshold for inclusion in the Guidebook, because they are rated ‘not level 2’ (or NL2).
A rating of NL2 does not mean that a programme ‘does not work’. Many NL2 programmes are developing and innovating, on the way to becoming established, effective programmes. Many other programmes that are rated 2 or higher today would have received an NL2 rating earlier in their lifecycle.
We provide this list for the sake of transparency. If a programme is not included in the Guidebook and is not on this list, then it has not been assessed by EIF.
